Welcome to BestRemit. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Normadit LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the BestRemit website (bestremit.app), our Model Context Protocol (MCP) applications, plugins for ChatGPT and AI platforms, and related comparison widgets (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service.

1. Description of the Service

BestRemit is an independent, automated international money transfer search engine and exchange rate comparison tool. The Service enables users to:

  • Search and view indicative foreign exchange (FX) rates across global currency pairs.
  • Compare estimated transfer fees, exchange rate markups, recipient payout amounts, and delivery times across multiple independent money transfer providers (e.g., Wise, Remitly, Panda Remit, Western Union, OFX, Instarem, Xoom, LemFi).
  • Discover promotional discount codes, introductory fee waivers, and transfer payment methods.
  • Navigate via direct links to third-party provider platforms to initiate money transfer transactions.

2. CRITICAL FINANCIAL DISCLAIMER — NOT A BANK OR MONEY TRANSMITTER

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY.

  • BestRemit is NOT a financial institution, bank, credit union, broker-dealer, money services business (MSB), or licensed money transmitter.
  • BestRemit does NOT execute, transmit, clear, settle, process, or intermediate money transfers.
  • BestRemit does NOT accept deposits, collect customer funds, hold escrow, or open stored-value wallets or bank accounts.
  • BestRemit operates strictly as an informational rate aggregator and comparative search engine.
  • Any money transfer transaction you choose to conduct is entered into directly and exclusively between you and the third-party licensed remittance provider that you select.
  • BestRemit does not act as an agent, fiduciary, partner, or representative of any remittance provider, nor does it act as your financial advisor or broker.

3. Indicative Estimates and Accuracy Disclaimer

Foreign exchange markets and international remittance pricing fluctuate continuously in response to market conditions, liquidity, payment methods, transaction volume, and provider pricing policies.

  • Estimates Only: All exchange rates, transfer fees, promotional offers, transfer speeds, and estimated received amounts displayed on BestRemit are indicative estimates only.
  • Real-Time Market Variations: Provider rates and fees may change between the time a query is executed on BestRemit and the time you reach the provider's checkout page. Rates may also vary based on your selected funding method (e.g., ACH bank transfer, wire, debit card, credit card), recipient payout channel, or geographic verification status.
  • Mandatory Verification: You must independently verify all final exchange rates, total fees, taxes, delivery estimates, and terms of service directly on the provider's official platform before completing any transaction.
  • No Guarantee of Availability: BestRemit does not guarantee that a specific exchange rate, fee waiver, or promotion displayed on our Service will be honored by the third-party provider at the time of your transaction.

4. Affiliate Disclosure and Advertising

To provide our comparison service free of charge to users, BestRemit participates in affiliate and referral marketing programs:

  • Referral Compensation: Some links and action buttons on our Service are affiliate links (e.g., https://bestremit.app/go/{provider} or direct partner referral URLs). When you click an affiliate link and subsequently register with or complete a transaction on a provider's website, BestRemit may receive an affiliate referral commission.
  • No Extra Cost to You: These referral commissions are paid by the respective providers and come at no additional cost to you. In many cases, our partner links provide you with special introductory discounts, such as fee-free first transfers or bonus exchange rates.
  • Objective Ranking: Quote ranking calculations in our comparison widget are based strictly on objective mathematical payout models (maximizing estimated received amount for the recipient), independent of affiliate compensation status.

5. Third-Party Providers and Limitation of Responsibility

  • Independent Contracts: When you navigate to a third-party money transfer provider, you enter into a direct contractual relationship with that provider, governed by their respective terms of service, privacy policies, KYC/AML compliance procedures, and user agreements.
  • No Provider Liability: BestRemit and Normadit LLC are not responsible or liable for:
    1. The acts, omissions, errors, representations, warranties, breaches, or negligence of any third-party provider.
    2. Any delays, cancellations, regulatory holds, account suspensions, transaction failures, or chargebacks experienced with a provider.
    3. Any financial loss resulting from exchange rate fluctuations, transfer delays, unexpected intermediary banking fees, or incorrect recipient details.
    4. Any disputes between you and any third-party provider.
  • Customer Support: All inquiries regarding transaction status, transfer tracking, refunds, account verification, or cancellation must be directed to the customer support team of the chosen money transfer provider.

6. Intellectual Property and Trademarks

  • BestRemit Rights: The BestRemit name, logos, software, website design, UI widgets, code, algorithms, and documentation are the exclusive property of Normadit LLC and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
  • Third-Party Trademarks: Trademarks, trade names, service marks, logos, and brand assets of third-party providers (such as Wise, Remitly, Panda Remit, Western Union, OFX, Instarem, Xoom, MoneyGram, and others) displayed on the Service are the property of their respective owners.
  • Nominative Fair Use: The use of third-party names and logos is solely for identification, comparative, and nominative informational purposes, and does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation by such trademark holders.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, or extract data from the Service using automated tools, bots, or scripts without our express prior written permission.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or impose an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our servers, networks, or infrastructure.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service or its underlying MCP server architecture.
  • Bypass, circumvent, or disable any security features, Content Security Policies, rate limiters, or access restrictions.
  • Frame, mirror, or repackage the Service in any manner that misleads users or misrepresents the origin of the content.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, NORMADIT LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  1. IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
  2. WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR ERROR-FREE.
  3. WARRANTIES REGARDING THE QUALITY, SUITABILITY, LEGALITY, OR PERFORMANCE OF ANY THIRD-PARTY REMITTANCE PROVIDER OR FINANCIAL SERVICE.

YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE AND ANY RELIANCE UPON INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE IS SOLELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL NORMADIT LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

  • INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES;
  • LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, SAVINGS, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL;
  • LOSS OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM TRANSACTION DELAYS, FAILED TRANSFERS, EXCHANGE RATE SLIPPAGE, INTERMEDIARY BANK DEDUCTIONS, OR THIRD-PARTY PROVIDER ACTIONS;
  • DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO, USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF NORMADIT LLC ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS ($100.00 USD) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US (IF ANY) TO USE THE SERVICE IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Normadit LLC, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your access to or use of the Service;
  • Your violation of these Terms or applicable law;
  • Your interaction or transaction with any third-party remittance provider.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to them or the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States of America, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

You agree that any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the federal or state courts located in New York County, New York, and you waive any objection to the venue or personal jurisdiction of such courts.

12. Severability and Entire Agreement

  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Normadit LLC regarding your use of the Service, superseding any prior oral or written agreements.

13. Modifications to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. When modifications occur, we will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued access to or use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
